Salagon, Museum and Gardens
Cultural site The Priory of Salagon. Major medieval heritage of Haute-Provence composed of a Romanesque church, a Renaissance house and ethnobotanical gardens...

The Salagon Museum is a unique place located in Mane in the heart of Haute-Provence and the Luberon, near Forcalquier. Composed of a priory listed historical monument and 6 hectares of gardens, it is both a place of historical, cultural and scientific life.
Labeled as a Musée de France and a remarkable garden, Salagon aims to enhance the past and contemporary culture of Provençal society. A magnificent green setting surrounds the monument and some 1,700 species of plants are listed among the 5 gardens of the museum: gardens that tell the relationship between plants and men.
