Who are we?

Association au service de votre randonnée à vélo dans le Luberon et le Verdon
We are not a cycling club, a travel agency or a bicycle rental... but then who are we?
For more than 20 years, the association created in 1996, has developed facilities and services for cyclists through a partnership with the Luberon Regional Natural Park, the Community of Communes of the Pays de Forcalquier - Montagne de Lure and since 2013 with the Regional Natural Park of Verdon.
A true Swiss knife, the Association aims to:
- develop, support and promote cycling tourism, in all its practices, in the Luberon and Verdon... but also thanks to its expertise in the South Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur Region (Alpilles, Alpes-Maritimes, Camargue... ),
- to bring together tourist providers bordering the Luberon bike routes, Le Verdon by bike and all other existing or upcoming routes of the South Alpes Côte d'Azur Region.
Our Handi-Bike Tourism Action
The Association finds it important to democratize the practice of cycling and to allow disabled, non-and visually impaired persons to benefit from this offer by making our equipment available to them.
To do this, the association has 1 tandem with the pilot on the rear of the tandem, a stricker adapting to the wheelchairs and a hand-powered handbike. These equipment is intended for outings for the blind and visually impaired as well as for people with balance problems.
Partnerships with the network's rental companies as well as associations dealing with disabled people in the Vaucluse, the Alpes de Haute-Provence and the Var are underway to carry out many walks.
How to help and support the Association?
- Become a volunteer, monitor of the markup!
Cyclists, you are privileged observers of our tours, help us maintain them!
We work for the signage and maintenance of the circuits you use. But, we cannot monitor every day all of our marked routes. That is why we seek your help.
The purpose of this action is to inform us of anomalies encountered during or after your stay.
The concept is simple: by letting us know, through an incidence sheet, the anomalies encountered on the circuits (absence of signalling, wild deposits, risk of accidents,...), the volunteer practitioner becomes a key information relay for the development of cycling activity on the Luberon and Verdon!
The information collected will then be forwarded to town halls, communities of communes, general councils... for rapid intervention on the ground. Pending this intervention, they will be informed through the website of the association to all tourists coming to our territory.

- Inhabitant, become a member as a user!
Are you a resident of the Luberon, Pays de Forcalquier Montagne de Lure or Verdon? Contact us.
- Become a volunteer, tandems pilot!
We find it important to democratize the practice of cycling and to allow people with disabilities who are motor, not and visually impaired to benefit from this offer by making our equipment available to them.
That is why we would like to include in all our events and events a bike offer for people with reduced mobility and the visually impaired. But, to achieve this offer, we constantly need volunteers - tandem pilots.
- Make a donation!
Our association is not intended to make profits.
However, if you wish to support us by a donation without consideration (patronage, donations from individuals...) or to subsidize us, you can send us an amount at your convenience by bank transfer or by cheque payable to Vélo Loisir Provence (postal address: Vélo Loisir Provence, 835, Avenue de la Gare, 84440 Robion).
This financial support will allow us to continue our actions, our editions and to always provide cyclists or yourself with all brochures, leaflets, information... without any additional cost!
The entire Vélo Loisir Provence team thanks you in advance for your interest in our association!
We are reachable by phone or email, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Our offices are not open to the public.
Ask us for:
