A few hundred metres are enough to reach this vast cultivated expanse overlooking the city. On the trail overlooking the plain of the Bas Chalus, once one of the roads connecting the country of Forcalquier to the Val de Durance, the view is breathtaking over the Montagne de Lure.

The agricultural trails, winding in the middle of the fields, then gradually lead to Paradise. On the outskirts of this neighborhood dominated by the Chapel of Saint-Pancrace, the last meters are in the shade of the retaining walls of the oldest passages of the plan.

To see: views of the plain of the Bas Chalus from the trail going down the Plan des Aires, on the cultivated plains of the Plan des Aires, then on the citadel of Forcalquier and the Paradis district on the way back.
