The House of History and Memory of Nails
1st exhibition dedicated to the Harkis in France. History of Ongles, a small village in Provence that welcomed 25 families. Designed by historians and a scenographer.


Inaugurated in 2008, the Maison d'Histoire et de Mémoire d'Ongles is a museum located in the castle of Ongles.
He pays tribute to both the painful exile experienced by the former Harkis and their families, the population of Nails and Lieutenant Durand during the Algerian War of Independence. Exhibition dubbed 'They arrive tomorrow... '.
Group welcome. Accessibility for people with reduced mobility (ground floor only).
