Recommended period(s)
Autumn | Summer | Winter | Spring |Type(s) of land
Hard coating (tar, cement, flooring) | Suitable for city strollers |Municipality(ies) crossed
Apt | Cabrières-d'Avignon | Maubec | Robion |A family walk that is not to be missed, without a car and without a difference in altitude!
This route uses the influence of the old railway on most of the route: Cavaillon - Apt - Volx.
It takes a Greenway for the vast majority, with the exception of 2 km at the place called 'Le Chêne' and for 500 m to the villages of Beaumettes and Coustellet.
The cycle route starts in the village of Robion, then follows the Calavon valley, and ends at the foot of the Luberon, at the D 48 which leads to Castellet
The route is pleasant and easy. Ride quietly surrounded by the landscapes of the Luberon. On your way, admire the Julien Bridge (monument of the Roman Empire), cross Apt safely (viaducts and viewpoints) and landscapes that are becoming more and more beautiful: banks of the Calavon, slopes of the Luberon and its hilltop villages.
The Around the Luberon circuit takes over, once you reach the end of this linear itinerary.
