An emblematic estate, La Cavale is both a great wine and a unique place of life that responds to the wine tourism and environmental project of Paul Dubrule, its owner.

The adventure began in the 1970s in Cadenet, instead known as 'Travers du Faridoux and Cavale', this is where Mr. Dubrule acquired a sheepfold surrounded by 7 hectares of vineyards. Since 1986, Jean-Paul Aubert, Technical Director has been working on the creation of wines. The winery rises at the crossroads, in the very heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park. Between 2012 and 2017, a new cellar was created. Designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, it welcomes visitors in an idyllic setting.

La Cavale has been in organic conversion for 3 years and will be certified for the 2020 vintage.

OUR SHOP

In our concept store you will find a large selection of wines, ours and discovery wines from around the world. You can also discover local products (delicatessen, fruit juices, olive oil, spirits), crystal works, books...

ON THURSDAY-TERRACE

In the summer months, come on Thursdays nights to participate in our musical aperitifs on the terrace. Concerts and food-truck. Reservation highly recommended.

GUIDED TOURS

We offer, on reservation and all year round guided tours of the Cavale, followed by a simple or blind tasting of our six wines. Duration 1h: 12€ per person.

GROUPS

We can accommodate groups. The shop and most of the vat are on the ground floor and therefore accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Group rates from 10 people (10€/person) to be applied only on the guided tour.

November to mid-February, Friday at 2:30pm

Meet at La Cavale for a visit to a nearby truffle, with participation in the cavage, followed by a tasting of fresh truffles accompanied by our wines.

* Ampelography: 25€

From vineyard to wine. Discover the different grape varieties of the Luberon then make your own blend.

* Initiation to tasting: 25€

From the nose to the palate, a whole journey... learn to stir, humor and taste... then guess!

* Fragrances and flavors: 25€

A workshop around the awakening of the senses, focused mainly on the olfactory, in agreement with the taste. Feel, imagine, associate, create...

* La Cavale makes its cinema: 25€

In the footsteps of Manon des Sources in Vaugines, Le Hussard on the roof and One Year in Provence in Cucuron... Visit our vineyard by discovering the locations of famous films.
