A beautiful hike in the Sorgues country to discover the uses of water in Vaucluse (Vallis Clausa) between natural areas and numerous orchards and vegetable crops irrigated by the Canal de Carpentras.

Not to be missed:

Robion: Romanesque church of the 12th century. In the heart of the old village, the calades, the Portalet, ramparts of the 14th century. On the side of the Petit-Luberon, the lime oven and the theater of greenery.

Maubec: the old village, caladée alley, 19th century church, gate of the Clock Tower. Noria Provençale (irrigation system) to discover towards Robion, 500 m to the right after the campsite (shed below).

Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame des Anges (17th century), the Sorgues canals and wheels at dawn, Hotel Donadéï de Campredon (exhibition contemporary art) and René Char house, Granier à blé (Tourist Office), antique shops, market on Thursdays and Sundays mornings.

Fontaine-de-Vaucluse: the source, ruins of the castle of the bishops, church of Notre-Dame de Saint-Véran, ruins of a Roman canal, the Santon Museum, the Petrarch Museum, the crystallery of the Popes, the paper mill.

Lagnes: old village, old wash house (showroom), green theatre, discovery trail (pedestrians only). Hike to the 'Wall of the Plague. '
