No real technical difficulty, reasonable distance and elevations, two steep but short upholstered climbs and a mid-way escape.

This pleasant walk also offers beautiful views of the Aiguebrun valley, the castle and the Fort de Buoux.

Attention: presence of herd protection dogs on the Claparèdes plateau.

Variant: this loop is also done very well from the Château de l'Environnement (north-west of the village of Buoux).
