Pierrerue |At the end of the path that allows you to climb there, the place holds many secrets to discover while going astray, up to its chapel. The way back has some nice surprises: the shaded 'trail of the Hameaux' is then a treat offering a breathtaking view of the hilltop village of Lurs, before giving the last strokes of pedals that will bring back to the starting point.
Careful! Initially, the path that descends along the banks of Pierrerue Creek is FORBIDDEN to traffic after a landslide following the thunderstorms of this winter 2020. It is therefore imperative to take the path of the “Pont de La Lèche” which leaves further west, then return “Sous Saint-Pierre” via the “Coteau de Pibérard” (GR).
To see: village of Pierrerue, hamlet of Saint-Pierre, the 'trail of the Hameaux' with its view of Lure and the village of Lurs perched on its ridge.
Important: during the summer period, from 15 June to 15 September access to the forest ranges of the Alpes de Haute-Provence is regulated, please contact the referring authorities.
