Electric bike getaway and wellness in Luberon

The electric bike will be your ideal companion on the road. It helps in hard times and allows you to travel more distance in a day.

Day 1: Installation in the Oustaou du Luberon

Scheduled arrival at the estate between 3 pm and 6 pm.

Sit in your cottage and discover the activities, the facilities and the calm of the places.

Enjoy the activities and tranquility of the place. The loan of MTB (Mountain Bike) is possible with a proposal of a lunch basket.

You can also opt for a meal at one of our partner providers.

Choose to relax with a massage by one of our wellness providers.

You can also book for a session of pilates, meditation, yoga.

Day 2: Cycling tour in the villages of South Luberon | Cadenet - Lauris - Lourmarin - Villelaure (23 km)

Departure from Oustaou to Cadenet (5 km).

Get lost in the alleys that go up to the ruins of the castle and enjoy the views of the valley. Stroll through the small typical Provencal squares of this perched village of South Luberon.
Market on Monday.

Then, direction Lauris (7 km).

As soon as you enter the village, discover the old oil mill built against the rampart of the 16th century. Head to the Old Village and the Garden Conservatory of Dye Plants to discover more than 250 species of flowers and colourful plants used to make natural pigments used in painting and dyeing.
Take the opportunity to admire the Terrasses du Château and the exceptional viewpoint on the Plain of La Durance.
Market on Monday morning.

Direction Lourmarin (8.5 km), classified “Most Beautiful Village of France”.

Have a lunch break at one of the restaurants in this charming village. Discover its alleys, shops, art galleries but also its squares and cafes. Visit the Château de Lourmarin (dating from the 12th century and rebuilt in the 15th century - Renaissance) with a view of the village. Before returning home, go to the grave of the famous French writer, philosopher and novelist, Albert Camus (1913-1960).

Back to the cottage in Villelaure (11 km).

Day 3: Gourmet breaks and history | Ansouis - Sannes - Cucuron - Vaugines - Villelaure (28 km)

Departure from the Oustaou for Ansouis (4 km), typical hillside village of the South Luberon with its church, the Extraordinary Museum, the Castle and its gardens.

Take time to enjoy a snack at the village's pastry shop before continuing towards Sannes (4 km). Along the way, gourmet stop at Art Glacier (route de La Tour d'Aigues).

Take a refreshing break on the largest body of water in the Luberon: the pond of the Bonde.

After a relaxing stop, start for Cucuron (7 km), village of numerous filming of French and international cinema with its 13th century ramparts, the large square of the Bassin de l'Étang and the Donjon.

After Cucuron, pedal to Vaugines (3 km), a small village and its small chapel made famous, according to Marcel Pagnol's masterpiece, by the film Manon des Sources.

And why not take a break on the Pope's bench. Enjoy the specialty of the village pastry chef, the Tropézienne!
Market on Tuesday morning.

Then return to Villelaure (10 km) in your gite 3*.

Day 4: For this last day, it's up to you to choose between bike and wellness

Take advantage of this last day with your bikes, always available, to make other excursions in the South Luberon.

You can also choose to offer “wellness” treatments, offered on site in l'Oustaou du Luberon.

End of stay and departure from your cottage.

The stay includes:
