La Méditerranée à vélo en Luberon : de Cavaillon à Apt
Between Cavaillon and Apt, this stretch of La Méditerranée by bike (EV8) mostly takes the Calavon greenway for a stage accessible to all.

Recommended period(s)
Autumn | Summer | Winter | Spring |Type(s) of land
Suitable for all terrain strollers | Hard coating (tar, cement, flooring) |Municipality(ies) crossed
Robion | Apt | Cabrières-d'Avignon | Forcalquier | Cavaillon |“The Mediterranean by bike is invited to the heart of the Luberon by bike, in the land of blue gold”
Nestled at the foot of the little Luberon, Les Taillades and its paddle mill will surprise you. A must to access the start of the Calavon greenway, Robion perfectly embodies the typical Provençal village, mixing a central square shaded by plane trees, stone heritage and a fountain.
Once on this beautiful path, all that remains is to enjoy the tracking shot on the Luberon, the Lavender Museum in Coustellet, or the picnic area of the former Goult train station.
A contemplative break at the venerable St-Julien bridge will complete this day by bike before visiting the pedestrian streets of Apt. A family stage once launched on the Calavon greenway.
